And here comes the funniest part. Sorry, I feel I have to share this with you because this was my very first attempt failure. - Soak almonds overnight
- Add 1 cup of almonds with 4 cups of water into the blender
- Blend until you get smooth liquid
- Using the nutmilk bag, separate the liquid and almond meal
Notes
- if you want lighter almond milk, use 5 cups of water instead of 4
- if you want salty or sweet almond milk, add salt or maple syrup, I prefer plain so I have more options when it comes to using the milk for other recipes
- store the unsweetened almond milk | homemade almond milk in fridge for up to 5 days
