I have asked my Instagram followers to vote for broccoli vs cauliflower. And surprisingly to me, 81% of them voted…. broccoli! It’s true that the broccoli is more popular as a side dish with most meat and fish dishes. But the cauliflower! It’s super delicious and so healthy, too! I decided to share the strawberry poppyseed salad with those 81% of my friends, but next time it’ll be the cauliflower turn!
The strawberry poppyseed salad is really simple to make. I do like broccoli a lot, and I love it both fresh, boiled or cooked. The broccoli used for this salad is fresh, so you may think “isn’t it too hard?”. Well, actually not as the only part of broccoli that you use is the very ends of the florets that is really soft! I must also say that it is up to you whether you use the endings of florets, or you want to use the harder part as well. It is really up to you!
This is definitely the best ever strawberry poppyseed salad! The dressing is an OMG style dressing that gives an amazing flavor to the salad. This salad is a beautiful, healthy, and quick to make salad that you will love. Oh and if you want to be the crowd pleaser, this salad is the best option so far!
I love creating various salad dressings, yet this one is the winner! My family is always happy seeing this salad on the table, and if it is not about the strawberry poppyseed salad, then the dressing is what they ask for for any other salad on the table.
If you have kids, this strawberry broccoli salad will be the winner, too! Why? Because kids love colors, and this salad is so colorful. Also, the raw broccoli makes this salad so crunchy and really loved by kids. If you want, you can add some nuts such as shredded almonds or toasted and chopped hazelnuts. I am so curious to know your favorite strawberry poppyseed salad and nut combination, let me know what that is in the comments below!
