What about a super simple dinner recipe? What about a simple but yet impressive dish? The creamy salmon pasta is such a quick to make dish, yet the flavor is amazingly good! Try making it and you will really seem a professional chef in the kitchen!
There are quite many different ways to make pasta with salmon. The creamy salmon pasta is one of my favorite. It is so quick to make, and this is what I love most! If you think of the flavor and the time needed to make it, it is really incredible! Only an instant to make such a delicious dish.
I am still wondering if there is any better match than salmon and zucchini. The creamy salmon pasta has more than that: creamy texture, salmon freshness, zucchini tenderness. All in one and the same dish! See, you don’t need to have Michelin star to look professional in the kitchen. Oh and I almost forgot: if you make this dish for your date night, s/he will get straight into your heart 🙂
You may think that to make this creamy salmon pasta takes hours. This is not true! It is basically just cooking pasta (AL DENTE is a must!) and adding in other ingredients.
There is one thing you must know before getting the ingredients for the salmon pasta ready. And this is something fundamental! Rule N°1: you MUST use freshly ground pepper. Whether black, green, white, or red (or a mix of all!), it must be freshly ground pepper. Trust me, the flavors using freshly ground pepper and the regular one (most probably purchased already ground) differ like the North and the South Poles.

- Bring water to boil, add salt and cook spaghetti (al dente is a must!)
- Cut salmon fillet into small pieces
- Strain the pasta when cooked, and return it to the stove over low heat
- Add zucchini and salmon and mix a little cooking for another couple of minutes
- Add heavy cream and stir a bit so that all the pasta is covered with the cream
- Grind pepper on top
Notes
- if you want an even creamer texture, feel free to add more of the heavy cream (in this case you may need to add more salt)
- I only use a mix of pepper: black, green, red and white; you may use any you have
- if you don't have spaghetti, you can use any other, yet remember the pasta shape matters! :)
